The Student Activities Committee of the Industrial Electronics Society (IES) offers some financial support to the IEEE-IES Student Members to attend IES Conferences.
 

Student Scholarships for 2010

The IEEE-IES has allocated 32 student scholarship of $ 750 each to attend the following conferences in 2010:
 

7 scholarships for ICIT’2010.

8 scholarships for ISIE’2010.

2 scholarships for INDIN’2010.
Osaka (Japan), July 13-16, http://indin2010.ist.osaka-u.ac.jp/index.html    

2 scholarships for ETFA’2010.
Bilbao (Spain), September 13-16, http://etfa2010.org/   

11 scholarships for IECON’2010.
Glendale, Arizona (USA), November 7-10, http://iecon2010.njit.edu/

Applicants must fulfil the following conditions in order to apply to the IES Student Scholarship Program:

A paper cannot be awarded more than one scholarship. A person cannot receive more than one scholarship each year.

Students interested in the IES Student Scholarship Program should fill up an application form located at http://ieee-ies.org/iestudents/form_data/IEEE_IES_App_Form_2010.pdf and collect some additional documentation (short CV, copy of the accepted paper and student status certification). Students should clearly indicate their IEEE membership number and their paper reference number. All material should be submitted in .PDF format by e-mail to:

Scholarships applications will be evaluated by a Committee constituted by the Chair of IES Student Activities Committee, IES President, Conference General Chair, and IES Treasurer. In case the number of applicants exceeds the budget, preference will be given to:

Special note
Student Travel Grants will be paid during conference, when recipient submit to IES Treasurer U.S. tax form W-8 and W-9
